What can I say that you don't already know about them? They are beautiful people to photograph, especially on their wedding day. Their easy going, laid back, and have absolutely no problem taking on an adventure.

As a Colorado Wedding Photographer it was awesome to get in touch with these two. We chatted for a bit, then met a few days prior to their wedding. An airbnb, a nice day, good clouds, and one beautiful bride and dapper looking groom to bring it all together. 

I'm serious when I say you can tell how much they love one another. It's ridiculous. It's crazy. It's real. After spending the entire day with them, not only did I get some amazing shots and participate in a wonderful wedding, I also feel like I walked away with a wonderful connection. 

Photography is all about connecting, intimacy, being vulnerable and the ability to be yourself. That's why I appreciated Gene & Kat so much. They were down to earth, exactly as they are, no strings attached and enjoyed the heck out of their day and stay in Colorado. 

Gene & Kat, I only hope our paths cross again, I hope these photographs bring you tears of joy for years to come, and that someday when you have little ones running around the house, they'll look at these photographs in awe.
